FOR HEALTHY SKIN, HAIR, NAILS, AND JOINTS
Collagen is one of the most important structural components in our body, representing 1/15th of our total body weight.
This fibre-shaped protein plays an extremely important role in ensuring the cohesion, elasticity and regeneration of skin, bones, tendons, ligaments and skeletal muscles. Approximately 75% of our skin is composed of collagen.
THE PROTEIN OF YOUTH
Scientific studies have shown that a daily intake of 5 grams of hydrolyzed marine collagen results in significant anti-aging benefits within 4 – 8 weeks
Collagen is best known for providing the basis for beautiful skin, strong connective tissues and healthy bones. But the real advantage to collagen supplementation lies in its ability to enhance regeneration of the collagen cycle and stimulate cells to restore body tissues. A building block for all the body’s systems, it also is a major component of membranes that surround and protect the internal organs, and of blood vessels, ligaments, tendons and bones. One-quarter to one-third of all the protein in the body is collagen protein.
THE KEY TO FEELING YOUNG AND HEALTHY
As we age, our body loses its ability to make collagen, causing this essential protein to break down. Starting in our mid-twenties we lose 1% of our collagen per year, which leads to a collapsing dermal layer causing:
- Skin to sag and wrinkles
- Hair to become thinner, dull or lifeless
- Joints to stiffen and become less flexible
- Bones and nails to weaken and become more brittle
- Our bodies become softer and less toned
Clinical studies and research have shown that regular consumption of collagen peptides improve skin moisture level, smoothness and suppleness, preventing signs of aging such as deep wrinkles, fine lines, and UVB-induced skin damage. Collagen peptides also promote joint health by helping to repair joint matrix degeneration and improve long-term joint comfort and mobility, as well as helping to restore bone mineral density and support healthy bone metabolism.
Including TruMarin Collagen in your daily health regimen keeps you looking younger and feeling healthier.
Clinical research has shown that daily consumption of hydrolyzed marine collagen will:
NOT ALL COLLAGEN IS CREATED EQUAL
Ultra-pure withinUs TruMarine Collagen is characterized by its unique amino acid composition, offering a high concentration of specific amino acids with special nutri-functional properties that are beneficial to health and beauty.
To provide the highest possible quality of collagen, TruMarine begins by sourcing the best raw material available. Our Premium Select Grade collagen is extracted exclusively from fish scales sourced from the deep, clean waters of the South Pacific Ocean.
TruMarine Collagen is a Type I collagen, which is the most abundant form of collagen in our body. Type I collagen is found in the skin, tendons, blood vessels, ligaments, organs, and cornea of the eye, and forms 50% of the protein matrix of bone. Unlike Type II or III collagen, TruMarine does not use animal sources such as beef, pork or chicken in the production of its collagen. Studies show that TruMarine has superior bio-availability when compared with other collagen sources. Its low molecular weight allows it to be absorbed into the bloodstream at higher levels, which leads to collagen synthesis in joint tissues, bones and skin.

TOTAL AMINO ACIDS
TruMarine Collagen is a hydrolyzed form of collagen, prepared by breaking down gelatin into smaller particle sizes using a natural enzymatic process. This proprietary process produces a clean, natural form of collagen with a low molecular weight in the optimal range of 3,000-5,000 Da. TruMarine Collagen will not form a gel and is highly dissolvable in cold water, even at relatively high concentrations.
Collagen proteins contain 18 different amino acids, 7 of which are essential for human life. TruMarine Collagen contains hydroxyproline, glycine and proline, which can be detected in the blood after ingestion, and function to stimulate the cells in the skin, joints and bones.
In particular, glycine represents about one third of the total amino acids in collagen peptides. This amino acid is known to play various roles, including functioning as a neurotransmitter, and is a precursor for the synthesis of heme and glutathione, as well as proteins in the body.
