Swap that movie–night popcorn for a deep bowl of fresh kale chips.

Prep time: 10 mins

  • 1 large head of kale leaves, stripped and removed from stem
  • 3 tbsp. of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1tsp. of turmeric
  • 1tsp. of ground garlic powder
  • Himalayan pink salt and fresh ground pepper

  1. Set oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Strip kale leaves from stems and thoroughly wash (preferably with a cleaning vegetable spray).
  3. Rip leaves into small bite-size pieces.
  4. In a large bowl, mix kale with olive oil, turmeric, garlic powder, salt and pepper until evenly coated.
  5. Lay leaves evenly on baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until leaves are slightly crisp and roasted.
JK’s Tip:
  • Wanna spice it up a little? Add some crushed red pepper flakes to the mix for extra flavour.
  • I always line my baking sheet with parchment paper. This is a huge time saver when it comes to cleaning the dishes.
